This is the master links page.  Here you'll find all the links listed on the sidebar in addition to all the ones that aren't but are still worth sharing.

  • Acemart Restaurant Supply - online restaurant supply store that, to the best of my knowledge, gives the one in Ocala a run for its money.  They sell those Cambro lexan containers that I spent so long trying to find as well as numbered dishers and anything else too utilitarian to be seen in a cooking store.

  • ADV - American licensing company responsible for the translation and distribution of a lot of anime, namely Evangelion and Excel Saga.  They also deal with putting some non-anime titles on DVD such as ReBoot and FarScape.

  • AE.com - American Eagle, manufacturers of my favorite kind of cargo pants.  They make some nice t-shirts, too.

  • All-Clad - high-quality cookware featuring a stainless steel outside and an aluminum or copper core.  Seriously pricey, but I'm going to buy some of these pieces one by one...one day...

  • Amazon.com - these guys have everything.  Books, music, video games, DVDs, cooking supplies, and a million other categories.  They have really bent over backwards to stay afloat and they still keep specials running all the time.  Almost every book, CD, and DVD at Amazon.com is marked with the Super Saver logo.  That means when I want a book or CD, I can buy it from Amazon.com and fill the order with other items regardless of where else I could get them.  When I have more than $25, I get free shipping on what I was going to order anyways plus the items I threw in to get up to $25.  While this makes me spend more than I would have by just ordering the book or CD, I end up saving money on each item individually.  Get it?

  • Andamiro - the people who brought us Pump It Up.

  • A-Z Lyrics Universe - the place I go when I can't figure out what a song says.

  • BuffUSA - ahh, the buff.  A unique athletic garment made of a wind-resistant microfiber.  Extremely cool, and it doesn't hurt that they manufacture special Survivor versions for use on the show and selling to me.

  • CDJapan - reliable source of non-bootlegged, completely imported Japanese music, namely anime and video game soundtracks.

  • Charcoal Making - a guide for something I'd really like to do one day.

  • Chef's Resource - online store for cooking equipment.  I've never ordered from them, but the Good Eats Fan Page links to it all the time, so they must be good.  They at least have a nice selection.

  • Club Moulin Rouge - the official website for a truly amazing movie.

  • Cooking.com - a nice online store for more common cooking equipment.

Dark Angel - official website of James Cameron's Dark Angel.

  • Dashboard Confessional - official website of the band Dashboard Confessional.

  • Dictionary.com - I had to do this worksheet in English on using a dictionary. I had to look up all kinds of regular dictionary stuff, but I also had to look up usage labels and idioms. All the dictionaries that I and my classmates looked in didn't have those, and that's not surprising since A Beka Book seems to like teaching in as esoteric and isolated a style as possible. I went to Dictionary.com to see if by any chance I could find these things, and it turned out that the same dictionary that the worksheet was written from was the one that Dictionary.com is based on. I found all those silly usage labels in no time at all. But the more obsolete, chiefly British, and archaic words I found, the more I realized that this site deserved a little more of my time than just that which I would spend finishing my dictionary assignment. I use it almost always instead of a real dictionary or thesaurus now, and so should you.

  • Dr. Pepper - Perhaps the only soda comparable to Mountain Dew.

  • EB Games - sure, they are some of the snobbiest people on earth, but there's just something about Electronics Boutique that keeps you coming back.

  • eBay - the infamous online auction website.  Now, you know I'm a picky little snoot when it comes to my purchases, and I don't much like to buy anything used, but there are some things that you just can't get anywhere else.  I bought the American Chrono Cross soundtrack from eBay because it was only available by pre-ordering the game.  Since I had missed the boat on that one, my only choice was a used copy.  Also, it's a good source for imported items, like anime merchandise.  These items are usually sold brand new because the person selling them is running an online store via eBay.  So if you're overly-obsessed with getting new items like me, eBay isn't strictly evil.

  • ElisabethFilarski.net - fan site for everyone's favorite castaway from Survivor: The Australian Outback.

  • Food Network - the website of the television network that airs Good Eats and Iron Chef.

  • Good Eats

    • AltonBrown.com - this is guy is just plain awesome.  Writer, director, and host of Good Eats, my favorite cooking show (if you want to call it a cooking show), he never fails to entertain me as well as show me the best way to cook anything from cheesecake to pot roast.  His show taught and continues to teach me how to cook.

    • Creative Loafing Atlanta Alton Brown Interview - an article about an interview with Alton Brown.  Little information, but an interesting account.

    • Good Eats Fan Page - the ultimate companion to the series.  Run by number one Good Eats aficionado Mike Menninger, it contains links to Food Network's recipes from the show as well as transcripts of the episodes and all the information you can shake a stick at about Alton Brown and Good Eats.

    • Good Eats Fan Page Message Board - the Good Eats Fan Page's message board which I frequent.

    • Good Eats Fan Page Message Board (Old) - the original design of the Good Eats Fan Page's message board, abandoned in July 2003 for a more up-to-date format.  The board is kept in suspended animation for archival purposes.

    • NPR: An Alton Brown Cookout: Unorthodox Cooking Methods - if you can download the videos, you're a better man than me.

    • USAToday.com Alton Brown Chat - a transcript of AB's chat hosted by USAToday.com.

    • Washingtonpost.com Alton Brown Chat - a transcript of AB's chat hosted by Washingtonpost.com.

  • Grand High License List - a list of all anime that has been licensed for release in America.  In other words, the stuff that is going to be in stores some time in the next few years.

  • Hi-HO - I have a pretty good theory about what this is, but the best explanation I've been able to come up with is just "It's Japanese."

  • Ice Hair - the website for the crazy waterproof gel that I wear in my hair.

  • IGN - a highly-reputable entertainment news network.  IGN is divided into many different channels covering quite a few forms of entertainment.  These sites are especially helpful for video game news and resources.

    • IGN Insider - membership-only news site for all gaming platforms as well as electronics and entertainment.  Highly recommended for anyone who reads the regular IGN sites and has an extra $20 a year to spend.

    • IGN64 - news site about the Nintendo64.

    • IGNcube - news site about the GameCube.

    • IGNDC - news site about the Dreamcast.

    • IGNPS2 - news site about the PlayStation2.

    • IGNPSX - news site about the PlayStation.

    • IGNXbox - news site about the Xbox.

  • I Love You - someone sent me this one day, and it was just weird enough to make it onto the sidebar with the likes of "Hi-HO" and Jenn's website.

  • Insanity Test - a breakthrough in psychoanalization.

  • Iron Chef Compendium - an unofficial yet very nicely done website about the insanely cool TV show, Iron Chef.

  • Jenn's Website - website of my good friend from Georgia.

  • Jenn's Whaptasic Diary - like my and her websites, but more random and updated more frequently than both.

  • Jordan Tur's Website - the Turminator's got a site of his own, so go check it out.

  • KentuckyJoe.com - Roger Bingham's (prominent contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback) website.

  • Life South - the people I give blood with.  I have a huge problem with needles and blood, but I can do it, and so should you.

  • Megatokyo - quite possibly the most complete dosage of inside jokes for the anime and video game crowd, available in an easy-to-swallow comic form.

  • Mountain Dew - I love it.  You love it.  So won't you take a look at their website?

  • Museum Replicas Limited - a nice store with some swords that I want.  And hey, their capes don't look too bad, either...

  • Northern Exposure - Hallmark Channel's description of the television show Northern Exposure.

  • Oanda - a good source for foreign currency exchange rates.

  • Ocala Christian Academy - OCA's very own website.

  • oneword - a daily excercise in writing.  You get a word, and you write whatever comes to mind.  You don't define it.  You don't even think.  You just write.

  • PayPal - the organization that eBay merchants prefer their buyers to use when paying.  You pay PayPal, then PayPal pays whoever you are buying from.  It's instant, and it allows people like you and me to accept payments by credit card.

  • Pump Xtreme - perhaps the best Pump It Up fan site there is, offering news, tutorials, forums, and dance step charts.

  • Reality News Online - a news site covering all reality television programs.

  • Ren Store - a nice-looking online store that has a wide variety of medieval clothing.

  • Seinfeld - Sony/Tristar's official website for Seinfeld.

  • Seizurebots.com - remember the whole ordeal with the Japanese kids who watched Pokemon on TV one morning and were later hospitalized for seizures?  This is one of the many American jokes about that.  Seriously, though, don't go here if you have epilepsy or something.  I don't, and it hurts my head to look at it.

  • Springz - Ocala's premiere active entertainment center and restaurant.  Springz offers an arcade, e-Racerz go-karts, Stunnerz laser tag, Climberz rock wall, occasional concerts, and they even offered me a job.

  • Survivor

  • Synch-Point - the folks that handled the American release of FLCL.

  • The Gallery of Regrettable Food - pictures with funny captions of food from a good many decades ago that apparently looked good back then.

  • The Simpsons - the official website of The Simpsons.

  • Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind's website.

  • Tina Wesson Fan Site - Tina Wesson's (winner of Survivor: The Australian Outback) website.

  • Weebl and Bob - Flash movies that tell the story of two British egg-shaped things and their various pie-related misadventures.  Funny stuff.

  • WhatBadgersEat.com - everything you need to know in case a badger takes up residence in your doghouse.

  • Wikipedia - where I turn when I think something like, "I wonder how crystal meth is used."

  • Wüsthof-Trident - exceptional German knives which, much like All-Clad cookware, I don't own, but plan to buy someday.
